How measurements are taken.
The radar reports counts and average speeds separately by direction of movement. The ioTraffic camera counts crossings of defined lines and assigns them to seven traffic categories. This page displays only numbers and time series.
Interpreting measurements correctly
Each value relates to a reported counting interval. The timestamp shows when it reached the data platform, not when this page was retrieved. Counting lines and radar measurement groups are not added together: the same movement may be recorded in several areas.
Left and right refer to the radar's viewing direction. Line and measurement-group numbers match the data source; they do not indicate locations or travel directions. The local mapping of radar measurement groups to vehicle classes has not yet been recorded here.
Automatic classification can be incorrect. Missing reports do not mean that there was no traffic. This display is not a real-time traffic information service.
